Chris Bishop to set out radical land use and planning reforms
Housing Minister Chris Bishop will launch a massive liberalisation of planning, zoning and land use laws on Thursday.
In the speech to the Real Estate Institute on Thursday, seen by The Post, Bishop outlines a new approach to development that will encourage housing development where people want them, not where planners think they should be.
Bishop's goal is to encourage building up, building out, and building smaller or near train lines - if that's what people want.
