Leaders to meet tomorrow
The leaders of the three coalition parties have finally set a time to meet, Stuff understands.
National’s Christopher Luxon, NZ First’s Winston Peters and ACT’s David Seymour will meet tomorrow.
This is the first time the three leaders will meet face to face, one month and a day after the election.
The meeting had been expected today but Peters did not arrive back in Wellington.
While Seymour and Luxon flew to Wellington on Tuesday morning, Peters remained in Auckland.
NZ First’s Shane Jones, who was - like most of the NZ First caucus - also at Parliament, said Peters would arrive in Wellington at the right time. Peters had been getting ready for a big week ahead. Stuff understands he stopped by a new barber on Monday.
