“She’s a doctor. Intelligent, educated and empathetic…as you well know now, she desperately wanted these children. She went through 16 rounds of IVF…and we know she was a great mum, highly organised and prepared for every eventuality.

Dickason did many fun things with her children and was an involved class mum.
She was so concerned about their safety almost to the point of being neurotic, her mother said during the trial.
Dickason did exhibit anger and resentment at the children in messages at times, 17 out of 330,000-odd, Beaton noted.
Amongst all of these were a number of positive ones where she said she wouldn’t swap the children for anyone, and that she loved them.
